Jaegeon Ryu is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Sogang University (South Korea).
He received his B.S. (2013) and and Ph.D. (2018) degrees from the Department of Energy and Chemical Engineering, at UNIST (South Korea).
During his postdoctoral researcher, he worked for 2 years at POSTECH (S. Korea) and another 2 years at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (USA).
His own research group specializes on the development of novel nano-/micro-scale materials for next-generation batteries including but not limited to LIB, LMB, SIB, and DIBs along with advanced in-situ/operando characterization techniques.
